Let’s write again. I’ll try to do my best in this blog again, and in English, ’cause now I’m a Newyorker! This is the second time I come to this fantastic city and I really feel like if it wasn’t the last. Well, I know it isn’t!
New York City is a great place to live. Althought it is a big city with a lot of people, you may sometimes feel lonely. But this is good too! And there are a lot of things to do here! You can relax while going for a walk in Central Park, or you can go shopping to Soho -be careful, it is dangerous! I advice you that you are going to want all you see at the stores-.
There is also Williamsburg, which is in Brooklyn. It’s like the coolest place in the City. Some years ago noone would know about it but now all the students and young people go there to hang out, or whatever. Indie shops are famous there, or you can even find second hand markets.
St. Marks street is a nice place to visit too. It’s in Noho, in Manhattan, and it’s more for a kind of alternative people. There you can find a lot of tattoo places that are open 24h! If you go to St. Marks place, you should eat an ice-cream. For sure! There are two places really close one from each other where you can choose the flavour you want and then put on it different kind of toppings: fresh fruit, chocolate, sweets, peanuts. The weight is what you pay for, so don’t put too much! It isn’t cheap… But I recomend this experience, it’s really good!
Another good place to visit is the Pier and Battery Park. From the park you have the opportunity to see the Statue of Liberty so close. Althought, if you want to see it nearer, you have two choices: take the Ferry to Staten Island (it’s free and it sails next to the Statue of Liberty) or the touristic ferry to the Liberty Island, which you’ll have to pay and you must do a long line… It depends on the time you have, just think it carefully! Maybe this city has more interesting things to do than waiting to see the Statue from 1 meter…
